This Pretty Much Says It All

Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining. It's all good. Okay, all but the clutter, but I'm learning to live with it, because I can't do it all.  Priorities have to be set and right now a clean house just isn't one of them.  As long as it doesn't resemble what I've seen on Hoarders, I can deal with it.

Man, I miss my house cleaners dish washers laundry doers kids.

This was sooo my house before we did a mass declutter and cleaning for the seed swap. I think we'll have to do a seed swap at least once a year to ensure my house is cleaned at least that often ;-]

Love it!

I just moved (today) my "office" from downstairs to the upstairs library where I can be more organized and not have piles of resource books and materials scattered around. I've got several writing gigs that I've got to get serious about and had to get my notebook Mac off my lap and on to my desk!

What a funny post Kylee. It brings back memories of when my kids first moved out. I realized real quick what a great help they were around the house.

Unfortunately, all too true.

I printed the cartoon and taped it over my desk at school. Pretty much sums it up for me! Except for the plant on the guy's file cabinet... as disordered as my life is, the plants are still well cared for :)

I've always thought that house cleaning needs to be low on the priority list. It sounds as if you have your priorities right. Good luck with your writing!!

I used to fret over the clutter. I'm over it now.

I once saw a fridge magnet that said: Show me a perfect house and I'll show you a wasted life. Right on.

Funny, Kylee. My house is always clean in the winter. Once Spring comes it's pretty much on it's own.

How funny, Kylee! I HATE being inside in the spring and summer - even to cook dinner, much less clean. You know, you're doing some cool new stuff, so cut yourself some slack! You're right -- ss long as we don't see you on Hoarders, it's ok!

Ha! Love this. And I can totally relate. Life was manageable when my own daughter was always borrowing money. I could put her to work cleaning up my clutter. :))

I popped over to send you some well wishes. I hope all is well with your dr. appt. next week.

Can't wait until my kids are old enough to help me around the house :)

My sister who has 5 kids has them all competing to see who can be the best cleaner upper- she is a genius! Her house always looks amazing.

Love that cartoon! I'm with you on having way too much stuff to do to worry about housework.
