I have it here, too, and have wondered and wondered what it is.Barbee'https://www.blogger.com/profile/11316077390373348067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3070488376505303445.post-3728733690735734052008-07-15T12:53:00.000-04:002008-07-15T12:53:00.000-04:00What a good post! I have the opposite problem of Connie's: my hands are wide and my fingers short, so they always fold over at the tips of the fingers making it almost impossible to do what I am trying to do. I may try Ethel's anyway. I can always pass them on to our piano playing daughter who inherited her father's nice long fingers and hands.Barbee'https://www.blogger.com/profile/11316077390373348067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3070488376505303445.post-86510381541228945192008-07-15T02:41:00.000-04:002008-07-15T02:41:00.000-04:00Thanks for the post, those are very attractive glo...Thanks for the post, those are very attractive gloves, and smartly designed. I too like the "feel" of gardening, I've even learned how to pull out small blackberry plants with my bare hands. But I have been trying to keep my gloves on lately, otherwise my hands get too grubby, and my kids complain about the roughness.Garden Lilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07555471590488138155noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3070488376505303445.post-62260250748074190922008-07-14T19:48:00.000-04:002008-07-14T19:48:00.000-04:00I tend to like the feel of the dirt between my fin...I tend to like the feel of the dirt between my fingers, and do not mind scrubbing it out from my nails...however, I have never come across a pair of gloves long enough in the fingers for me. I'll have to check out "Ethel" and see if her gloves would save my poor worn-out nails!Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12305130864821882311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3070488376505303445.post-47275673433985627742008-07-14T16:29:00.000-04:002008-07-14T16:29:00.000-04:00Interesting... I resist wearing gloves as often as possible, but last year I had a pair of "Woman's Work" gloves given to me by the garden center where I work part time. I actually liked them... until a seam ripped out a mere 4 weeks into our relationship. That just proved to me that I was right: "I don't need any stinking gloves!" lol.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14395380166485303934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3070488376505303445.post-11339967699207553462008-07-13T11:28:00.000-04:002008-07-13T11:28:00.000-04:00Thank you for sharing! I was just talking to a good friend yesterday about my "man hands" and got the usual "why don't you wear gloves"...I'm still skeptical but it's worth a try!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3070488376505303445.post-91971709147232650952008-07-11T15:17:00.000-04:002008-07-11T15:17:00.000-04:00I have the same problem of shedding my gloves to g...I have the same problem of shedding my gloves to get at smaller weeds. I always seem to find some reason to have to take tem off. I misplaced many gloves that way. Probably why I ended up with so many different pairs....Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09582157624382487302noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3070488376505303445.post-87878552910235868702008-07-11T08:13:00.000-04:002008-07-11T08:13:00.000-04:00I tend to pull off my gloves to do chores as well....I tend to pull off my gloves to do chores as well. I 'hear about it' all the time at home too, when I don't have my gloves on!

I've been using Atlas gloves for a couple of years now. They're not pretty, but very functional. They're my favorites, and converted me to being a glove wearer (almost) all the time when gardening.garden girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13284047851881823280noreply@blogger.com
