We do love the lemons and the trees too.Terra https://www.blogger.com/profile/04396481049075747940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3070488376505303445.post-65416949588730573052010-12-08T14:20:50.436-05:002010-12-08T14:20:50.436-05:00My parents briefly lived in California and had a M...My parents briefly lived in California and had a Meyer's Lemon tree in their courtyard. My Dad babied it and it had lots of lemons. Just when he was anticipating lemon pie, they went to church. When they got home, someone had picked every lemon on the tree. My Dad still gets mad when he tells that story 45 years later!Stephanie Suesan Smith, Ph.D.https://www.blogger.com/profile/06258700735299993683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3070488376505303445.post-49934218931251289772010-12-07T17:44:08.153-05:002010-12-07T17:44:08.153-05:00Too funny! Those lemons better be delicious :) I got a key lime from Springhill Nursery, but it hasn't bloomed yet.

It's very interesting to know that Lowe's isn't allowed to feed the trees! I guess they're afraid employees will get overzealous and OVERfeed them? No wonder some of their plants look so pathetic!Jennah Wattershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09405626722084344854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3070488376505303445.post-20646936235329695932010-12-07T09:28:02.117-05:002010-12-07T09:28:02.117-05:00What fun I have had reading , going to all the co...What fun I have had reading , going to all the co. u mentioned such fun. Guess it was in the wrong place in the house. My sister in law had one that did well, about a three foot tree and harvested 7 lemons the first year.

We had white asparagus in Germany, quite the delicacy.... only had it in the spring.
