One of them has been moved at least three times and I think that has stunted its growth. One is a seedling that I dug from under a customers tree. It is about 3 foot tall now, but the rabbit's worked it over last winter, and it has struggled since. I would like to get a weeping variety, but have not found a place for it yet. I...Gisela and Joe, thank you for visiting my blog! I don't believe I've seen you here before. Please come back! :-)

Connie, one thing to consider when keeping this in a container outside is that the cold air will circulate around the roots of the tree because the container isn't in the ground. It would be better if you sunk the container down in the ground to give it better insulation from the cold or even put it in a cold garage for the winter. I've done that with things before and they do fine. We do have a small window in a door though, so I'm not sure how they'd do in a dark garage.

Gisela, I too love the Ginkgo and wrote about it on November 10th. Ours was a brilliant yellow, but now the leaves are all gone. Maybe you can see it in all its bareness in the background of the last picture of this post.Kylee Baumlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04288354709094515651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3070488376505303445.post-30481527431985582302007-11-19T17:22:00.000-05:002007-11-19T17:22:00.000-05:00Thank you again for your comment on my blog.
