Wordless Wednesday: Flora or Fauna?

Once I saw the swans engaged in conversation, I could no longer see the columbine.

Lisa ~ My intent was to show the baby blue color of this open-pollinated columbine that popped up in my garden. When I uploaded the image to my computer, the first thing I noticed was that the color didn't render accurately and the second was how it looked like two swans. Columbine? Oh yeah... It IS a columbine! ;-)

What a stunning photo.
I first say that and thought of 2 Doves; a meaning of Peace.

Alison ~ It's funny how I never even noticed it prior to taking the photo and viewing it on my computer screen! Now I'll likely be looking for swans in all the columbines! Have you ever seen a purple swan? ;-)

Yes, of course! It's amazing what you see when you watch carefully--either at the time or when you download the photos from the memory card. That is one great shot.

Thanks, Beth! Actually, the first thing I thought of was those towels that they form into the shape of swans, like they do cruise ships and the like! LOL!

Swans, yes! But I've always thought of them as little crowns. Either way, columbine is a favorite!
