With the exception of the sweet corn, these are the vegetables we're harvesting from the garden now: Beets ('Detroit' and "Choggia'), English slicing cucumbers, heirloom tomato (supposed to be 'Black Krim' but it doesn't look like my other 'Black Krim' at all), sweet red onions, green beans ('Contender'), yellow wax beans, and 'Dragon's Tongue' heirloom beans.

Its always nice to be plucking food from the garden. Thats a nice harvest! Enjoy!
oh what a wonderful early harvest Kylee and your photo is so beautifully composed.
Jenn ~ This is the first year we haven't grown our own sweet corn. We've lived here for 33 years, so it was strange not to have it, but there are plenty of farmers' markets and roadside stands, since we live in the middle of farm country!
Rosie ~ Thank you! I had everything sitting on the top of my stove last night and thought it looked so beautiful, so I did a little arranging and took their picture! This is just one of the things I love about summer.
A stunning photo, Kylee! Vegetables never looked so good! I'm jealous you already have a ripe tomato--I have lots on the vine, but they're still awfully green.
This photo makes me hungry. Beautiful shot of your harvest.
Rose ~ We've only had two full-sized tomatoes ripen so far, but we've had several cherry tomatoes already. With this warmer than usual year, things are all early!
Lisa ~ You're very welcome to come help us eat it! :-)
That's as beautiful as any flower photo! It would be awesome in a frame.
It hasn't been a good year for my vegetable garden between the rabbits and the heat. I am starting to get some ripe cherry tomatoes, too. Since I don't have others yet, I'm having to pick them not quite ripe, because the birds took bites out of the first ripe one.
