Same as you! I'd have bought 'em too. I have one, it's yellow, don't know the name of it. I've had it for five years, figured out how to take care of it and get it to rebloom after 3. Now that I know how to get them bloom, I'm ready to add a few more. Who could resist at that price!

Yes, me too...who needs to pay the phone bill, fuel bill, groceries, etc, when such beauties are to be had.

When I had my greenhouse raising orchids back in the early 80's, I never paid less than $50 a plant. Orchids I wanted then, were not in mass production mode.
I have always given Orchids, since 7th grade to the present,to those I care for.
If I had a greenhouse now, I would not have passed on the price.
