Hello,

I enjoy gardening in my small garden that may be a little over an acre. If you enjoy reading and gardening I know of a book that you will enjoy. "Diary of a Wannabe Gardener." is a fictional creatively humorous account of the year in the life of a gardener. Preview the book at www.bbotw.com and let me know what you think about it. Enjoy nature and enjoy life.

Mr. King must have written twenty more chapters and sent them to you!

Sorry about the book - I think that's one of his best. "The Shining" ranks as his very best in my opinion.

Dorothy - I'll check that one out! Thanks for the suggestion!

ruth - I've not read it yet and I won't be reading it until it gets dried out. It weighs too much right now for me to even lift it. LOL.

I'm not a Stephen King fan - not my genre - but a good friend who shares my taste in books says I'll like this one. With that many pages, I'd sure hope so, because it won't take a short time to read!

You'll probably finish it before I even get to it, so let me know what you think...

Oh, geez......how will you keep the pages from sticking together once it dries out? I read somewhere about sprinkling with baking soda,,,,but that seems like such a mess.

I hate what water does to books, they are never the same again. :(

The Stand is a great book, and I'm not much of a Stephen King fan. I re-read it every couple of years. I hope your books dry out without mildewing. I know that freeze-drying books that are wet can save them. Do you have access to a freeze-drying machine -- how do they even do that?
