Just Biding Time

This is the winter that never ends, yes it goes on and on my friend. The temperature stays frigid and the snow keeps right on falling, and spring is now on hold because...This is the winter that never ends, yes it goes on and on my friend. I know what you mean! The snow was pretty in the beginning but spring needs to get a move on it!
Wow, you did get a ton of snow!

I feel your pain, Kylee.

Why does it seem worse this year, it's only the end of February? I wonder if its reading all of these southern garden blogs making us antsy to play in the dirt and see our own flowers blooming.

Was that a book? It sure sounds like something from my past. I seem to remember my son singing it. Anyway, yes it is time for winter to be over, let's think positive......

Chris ~ We're sure over our average for a typical winter!

Kim ~ I'm not even sure that misery loves company any more, it's gone on so long!

Robin ~ That might be some of it, but my patients are all saying the same thing and most of them aren't even gardeners or bloggers. It's just wearing on everyone!

Vonlafin ~ It's my parody of "The Song That Never Ends." I'm trying to stay positive, but it's getting hard when we keep getting hit with more snow and cold temps!

Hold on Kyleee..... TAke a deep breath... Now release. Once again, deep breath.... release.

Now doesn't that feel better??

Now go to Kerri's blog and read about upper NY state where she lives. It has pretty pictures. This might help.

I hope the sun is shining for you today.

Lisa ~ Actually, I did read Kerri's post last night. And as I sit here looking at the thermometer reading 7° F, got any other ideas? LOLOLOL.

We're all covered with snow here in Illinois. I usually start putzing around with seed starting around March 1, which is this weekend. That will *make* spring come, don't you think?

I'm with you. My thoughts excactly. Acutally, we are supposed to have a couple days of 65 before it snows again. Just enough to tease. I too try to push my limits with a zone 6 plant here or there. Usually with no success. Hang in there, one of these days we will be complaining of the heat.

Let's all have a huge ((((group hug)))) Rosie

I would love to agree with you about the most recent cold snap and the snow that is still endlessly falling...However, I cannot as I have your song stuck in my head! I'll be mumbling it for days...probably because it's scarily accurate! Thanks for the tune...LOL

Ah...a new rendition of the song from Lamb Chop's Play Along. RIP Shari Lewis...

And on a side note...I HATE winter too.

Well, I have to say that I'm more fortunate when it comes to the winter months, as I live in East Texas. You can pretty much garden here all year round. So I'm pretty lucky in that aspect. Just have a problem with the extreme humidity and heat once summer comes! Oh well. Can't have everything!

Tie a knot at the end of your rope and hang on there, just a little bit longer. I'm sure spring is just a few weeks away... at least I hope it is! My rope is getting pretty short, too.

I can't take it anymore! Here's my song. "I'm going cuckoo, woohoo. Here's comes the choo-choo, woo-woo. People say I'm crazy, I'm loony in the head. Please pass the catsup, I think I'll go to bed."

All us northerners are hitting the same wall, Kylee. The up and down of the weather is enough to make us all scream. Ahhhhhhhhhh!
