I knew this was going to happen. Just as soon as I posted a list of things I might want for the garden, I thought of some more that I want on that list:
- Sea Holly (Eryngium 'Amazing Jackpot')
- Primrose (Primula 'Francesca')
- Egret Flower (Habaneria radiata)
- St. John's Wort (Hypericum 'Brigadoon')
- Hardy Geranium (Geranium pratense 'Double Jewel')
- Double Oriental Lily (Lilium 'Miss Lucy')
- Tree Peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Shima-nishiki')
- Hosta 'White-wall Tire'
- Toad Lily (Tricyrtis 'Lunar Landing')
- Corydalis (Corydalis 'Berry Exciting')
- Shasta Daisy (Leucanthemum 'Broadway Lights')
Okay, that's all.
For now.

Oh....I have been smitten by Lunar Landing Lunacy! And so my short list gets longer...
I'll second Jodi's comment as well as that White Wall Tire Hosta! And.... ;-)
Egret flower--wow! What a beauty. And I love the name and look of the 'White Wall Tire' hosta.
Kylee, this has got to stop! Seeing all those gorgeous plants on your short (yeah, right!) list has made mine even longer than it already was.
I think I have to lie down now, my head hurts from looking at all those wonderful plants and wanting to buy them all!
I like the variegation on the hosta. I have to second Yolanda's comment, your short list will make mine longer.
I LOVE coneflowers, and the birds love them once they go to seed. Our birds here in the Northwest nibble on them all winter.
Another favorite (which I didn't notice on your lists) is delphinium. I love the blues.
Jodi ~ I'm beginning to think that this list thing just isn't going to work! LOL
Shady Gardener ~ See my comment to Jodi!
Pam ~ Isn't that Egret Flower stunning? So graceful! And there's also a hosta out there that has all-white leaves that looks pretty cool.
Yolanda Elizabet ~ I feel your pain, girlfriend!
Dave ~ Join the club! ;-)
Macromoments ~ The birds love the coneflowers here as well. I do love delphiniums, but I've not had good luck at all with growing them. The ones I planted here last spring did very well all summer, so we'll see if they return in the spring. If past history is an indication, I think I might be done growing them. Keep your fingers crossed for me, because I'd love nothing more than for them to return. And blues, you say? I love, love, love blue flowers!
EGRET FLOWER. You are just going to have to put that catalog away girl...not. I too want them all...
